#22 Rising from the Grave

Dover Souls

The Souls have had two things go wrong for their organization during their time in the league. They seem to have a new owner every year, which has hurt the development of the team and winning season as well. The second is playing the American League East, where the Brave Vawts and Highlanders have controlled the division since season one. It’s been very difficult for the team to make the playoffs sitting in third place every season.

The total percentage of wins for the Souls is .476 (540 victories and 594 losses). The most wins in a single season was 90 during season three. The most losses in a season being 97 during season five.

Skidmark is entering his second season as the general manger of the franchise compiling a 79-83 record for a .488 winning percentage. Skidmark biggest problem isn’t the lack of talent on the team; it’s playing in the American League East with its two juggernauts sitting at the top of the division year in and year out.
