Power Rankings Week 3 (Season 7)

1. Houston Hitmen (37-10) (Previous Week – 1)(Points = 118.31)
The Hitmen remained in the top stop becoming the first team since season 4 to go back to back weeks at the top spot besides the Monterrey Stars. The team went 24-7 during the last two weeks of the season, the best in the league during that span. The Hitmen are scoring 7.04 runs per game, the best in the league, while giving up 4.26 runs per game. The team is leading the league in homeruns (119), runs scored (331) while hitting at a .287 mark.

2. Milwaukee Bucks (32-16) (Previous Week – 4)(Points = 90.97)
The Bucks moved up two spots and is tied for the best record in the National League. The team went 21-11 during the last two weeks of the season. The Bucks are scoring 6.35 runs per game while giving up 4.42 runs per game. The team has the best clutch hitter in the game right now in Danny Harding who already has 70 RBI's in 47 games.

3. Monterrey Stars (31-17) (Previous Week – 5)(Points = 84.77)
The Stars moved up two spots and find themselves in a position that they haven't seen in two seasons entering the the third week of power rankings not ranked number one. The team went 19-12 during the last two weeks of the season. The Stars are scoring 5.60 runs per game, while giving up 3.63 runs per game. The team is tied for the fewest runs allowed in the league (174) and has the lowest Earned Run Average in the league with a 3.09 number.

4. Los Angeles Galaxy (32-16) (Previous Week – 2)(Points = 70.89)
The Galaxy fell two spots but still find themselves with a six game lead over the second place team in the National Leaguw West. The team went 19-13 during the last two weeks of the season. The Galaxy is scoring 5.38 runs per game while giving up 4.23 runs per game. The team has the pitcher with the best record in the National League in Peter Baek who is already 7-1 and heading for the best season of his career.

5. Ottawa Crawdaddies (30-17) (Previous Week – 11)(Points = 69.99)
The Crawdaddies moved up six spots and has jumped out to a 10 game led over the second place team in the American League North. The team went 21-9 during the last two weeks of the season. The Crawdaddies are scoring 5.02 runs per game while giving up 4.36 runs per game. The team has one of the best defense third basemen in the league in Al Guillen who is leading the American League in plus plays (4) at thirdbase and has only one error so far this season.

6. Arizona Sting (29-18) (Previous Week – 6)(Points = 56.09)
The Sting remained in the sixth spot this week even after putting up 40 points on the Hitmen in there last four outings, all wins. The team went 17-13 during the last two weeks of the season. The Sting are scoring 5.55 runs per game while giving up 4.38 runs per game. The team has really shown that if you defend you own ballpark you can become one of the top teams in the league as there 17-7 at home, second best record in the American League.

7. San Diego Mafia (27-21) (Previous Week – 14)(Points = 55.78)
The Mafia moved up seven spots and becomes the second new team to join the top ten this week and the second team from the best division in baseball the American League West. The team went 19-13 during the last two weeks of the season. The Mafia are scoring 6.31 runs per game while giving up 5.19 runs per game. The team's offense is slowing becoming one of the best league with six players already scoring more then 30 runs this season.

8. Chicago Blackhawks (28-19) (Previous Week – 16)(Points = 54.28)
The Blackhawks moved up eight spots and becomes the third new team to join the top ten and the second team from the second best division in the league the National League North. The team went 20-11 during the last two weeks of the season. The Blackhawks are scoring 4.96 runs per game while giving up 4.38 runs per game. The team is tied for the second best record at home going 14-7 with a .667 winning percentage and if they keep that up they could slowly begin the challenge the Bucks for the division crown.

9. Atlanta Brave Vawts (28-19) (Previous Week – 3)(Points = 49.83)
The Brave Vawts fell six spots but the team is still leading their division only by a couple games. The team went 16-15 during the last two weeks of the season. The Brave Vawts are scoring 4.91 runs per game while giving up 3.70 runs per game. The team once again has Phil Nitkowski pitching like his Cy Young self leading the league in ERA at 1.92 and have only thrown 9 walks to his 54 strikeouts so far this season.

10. Anaheim Beefpound (26-22) (Previous Week – 15)(Points = 39.35)
The Beefpound move up five spots but still find themselves in third place in their division. The team went 18-14 during the last two weeks of the season. The Beefpound are scoring 5.44 runs per game while giving up 5.23 runs per game. The team will be playing catch up after a slow start but if they keep playing like this every week they could catch the Sting really soon.

11. Cincinnati Highlanders (26-21) (Previous Week – 10)(Points = 37.15)
