USMLB DAILY

Welcome to the second edition of the USMLB Daily. A lot of news and information will be in here and fun things will be added through out it. I hope that you enjoy and that the report will be up Monday, Wednesday and Friday till the end of the season. Draft information will also be added to the Daily report after the draft. If there’s anything you would like me to cover or add just let me know and I’ll do my best to add it.

The Hall of Champions (http://usmlbhof.blogspot.com/) is now being built to prepare for the first Hall of Fame inductees in about four seasons. Hopefully it will be finished by then.

To celebrate the first five years that the USMLB has been around and I have ranked every team to find out which team has had the greatest offensive season in the USMLB. Here are the winners:

Franchise (Season 1)

2. Boise Hurricanes Franchise (Season 3)
3. Kansas City Bobcats Franchise (Season 2)
4. Kansas City Bobcats Franchise (Season 3)
5. Durham Bulls Franchise (Season 2)

Well it looks like only 2 people believe that can get to 3000 hits.

Rumor Mill:
Breaking news from Durham: Bulls manager McGraw chased team owner Steinhacker from the team's clubhouse yesterday. Steinhacker said he merely wanted to "inspire the troops." In a confrontation outside the clubhouse, McGraw threw an empty bottle of Gentleman Jack rare Tennessee whiskey at Steinhacker. Fortunately, it bounced harmlessly off Steinhacker's ample behind. "The last time he was in here, we lost five straight," McGraw complained. "This is not over," bellowed Steinhacker. "Next time I'll bring my security detail!” "He'll need the Marines to get in here," retorted McGraw.
Stay tuned, sports fans.
We are still waiting for Vawt to explain to us what a Vawt is?

Useless Information:
At the leagues current pace we will hit 5875 homeruns by the end of the season.
The Jackson Blazers have allowed only one inherited runner out of the 18 runners that have been on base, while the Atlanta Brave Vawts have allowed 18 out of the 30 inherited runners score so far this season.
The Pittsburgh Pirates have thrown out 11 base runners out of the 29 base stealing attempts this season while the Boston Braves have thrown 0 base runners out of the 27 base stealing attempts against them.
