Congrats to the Monterrey Stars for having so a great season and for winning a hard fought battle for the World Series crown. Also good job of keeping the title in the National League for the thrid straight year.
Team MVP:
Eric Flynn
Where did Eric Flynn come from? Spending the last three season in the Houston Hitmen minor league system before being traded to the Beefpound but for some reason was allowed to be selected in the rule 5 draft by the Houston Hitmen which then traded him again the Stars where had a break out season. Look for Flynn to be a force for a while on this team.
Team Best Pitcher:
Seth Dillon
This was pretty much Dillon's rookie season this season as he had limited work last season with an injury. Dillon led the team in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts. But where he really shined was in the playoffs where he went 2-1 with an ERA of 2.93.
Watch out for this team next season as the average age for this team is just 26.9. Alot of good players are entering there prime for this team.
